Rep. Joe Hogan and Sen. Frank Farry have announced grant funding for four projects in the 142nd House District and 6th Senate District. The funds are provided by the Pennsylvania Local Share Account (LSA) program.

Langhorne Manor Borough is set to receive $348,826 for replacing drainage swales along West Prospect Avenue with infiltration trenches. Lower Southampton Township will receive $313,999 to purchase and install new intersection cameras at approximately 22 locations.

The Upper Southampton Municipal Authority has been allocated $593,343 to buy and install two bypass pumps at the Mill Creek Pump Station as part of an upgrade to their sanitary sewer stations. Middletown Township will get $1 million for lighting upgrades at Community Park, including a skate park, two soccer fields, and a baseball field.

"I am thrilled to see this grant money come through for projects in the district," said Rep. Hogan. "All of these projects help improve the quality of life for the citizens of these areas."

Sen. Farry added, "I’m pleased to have helped secure funding for these important projects in the district."

The grants are distributed under the PA Race Horse Development and Gaming Act through the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support public interest projects within Pennsylvania.
