Rep. Joe Hogan of Bucks County announced that fire and EMS companies in the 142nd District have been awarded grants totaling $120,153. These funds are provided by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and the Office of the State Fire Commissioner.
The grants are intended to support projects such as facility construction or renovation, equipment purchase or repair, training initiatives, or debt reduction for fire and ambulance services.
The recipients of these grants include:
- Feasterville Fire Co., receiving $16,106.
- Lower Southampton Fire Co., allocated $16,322.
- Middletown Township DBA, awarded $13,309.
- Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Co., granted $14,600.
- Parkland Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1, receiving $14,170.
- Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad, allocated $13,000.
- Penndel Fire Co. No. 1, awarded $16,322.
- William Penn Fire Co., granted $16,322.
"I'm pleased to see this funding come back to our community," stated Hogan. "These are mostly volunteer organizations that put their lives on the line for us. I'll continue to have their back in Harrisburg."
