Hearing on fraud prevention to address elder exploitation

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail and Representative Joe Hogan will host a hearing titled "Safeguarding our Community from Fraud." The event aims to identify vulnerabilities, share preventive measures, and promote a unified approach for community protection against fraudulent activities, with a focus on elder exploitation.

Kail, Hogan, members of the committee, and several testifiers will participate in the hearing. Testifiers include Fred Harran, Bucks County sheriff; Jennifer Schorn, Bucks County district attorney; Nicolette Brown, director of customer care at PECO; Jeane Vidoni, CEO of Penn Community Bank; and Rick Cimakasky, director of fraud and security management at Penn Community Bank.

The hearing is scheduled for Friday, March 8 at 9 a.m. It will take place at the Neshaminy Activity Center located at 1842 Brownsville Road in Feasterville, Pennsylvania. Barring any technical difficulties, the hearing will be streamed online at PAGOPPolicy.com.
