Rep. Joe Hogan of Bucks County announced that several fire and EMS companies in the 142nd District have received grants from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and Office of the State Fire Commissioner. The grants are intended to support projects such as construction or renovation of facilities, equipment purchase or repair, training, or debt reduction.
The recipients of the grants include Feasterville Fire Company with $16,951.99, Lower Southampton Fire Company also receiving $16,951.99, Parkland Fire Company awarded $14,359, Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad with $14,280, Middletown Fire and Emergency Services Department receiving $13,839.63, Penndel Volunteer Fire Company granted $14,359, Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Company with $16,173.90, and William Penn Fire Company receiving $16,951.99.
“I’m glad to see that the money our taxpayers send to Harrisburg is coming back to our community,” said Hogan. “These organizations, many of which are entirely volunteer, need and deserve our support. These grants will help them do what they do best — protecting their neighbors and saving lives.”
