Treasurer Stacy Garrity announced the return of more than $103,000 worth of unclaimed property to Bucks County residents at recent events hosted by Senator Frank Farry (R-6), Representative Joe Hogan (R-142), Representative Kristin Marcell (R-178), and Representative K.C. Tomlinson (R-18).

“For the second year in a row, we’ve returned more than $100,000 to Bucks County residents in a single day,” Treasurer Garrity said. “That’s amazing! Huge thanks to Senator Farry and Representatives Hogan, Marcell and Tomlinson for inviting me and my team to this incredible event – and for making sure their constituents know how to search for unclaimed property.”

“It was an honor having Treasurer Garrity here in the 6th Senate district sharing the great programs Treasury has to offer,” Senator Farry said. “Many people do not know they have unclaimed property and being able to offer this service and finding over $100,000 for our constituents in one day is remarkable. I encourage anyone who could not attend our events and may think they have unclaimed property contact our office for assistance.”

“During my first term in office, we have helped to identify and return hundreds of thousands of dollars to its rightful owners,” Rep. Hogan said. “I am happy to see this money returned and will continue to make our community aware of this program and resource. I also would like to thank Treasurer Garrity and her staff for coming to Bucks County and working for every Pennsylvanian.”

“It was wonderful to see so many Bucks County residents reclaim what’s rightfully theirs. Events like these highlight the importance of connecting our constituents with valuable resources,” Rep. Marcell said. “I’m grateful to Treasurer Garrity and her team for their dedication to returning unclaimed property and for the opportunity to collaborate on such a meaningful initiative.”

“I was so happy to welcome Treasurer Garrity back to Bucks County,” Rep. Tomlinson said. “Last year was so successful we knew we needed to make this an every year thing. It was great to work alongside my colleagues and the Treasurer to help our constituents claim what is rightfully theirs, especially at a time when every extra dollar helps!”

Residents were able to search for their unclaimed property at two events on Aug. 9, hosted in Lower Southampton Township and Warminster Township. The events, organized by the legislators, offered constituents the opportunity not only to search for unclaimed property but also learn about other programs offered by Treasury such as the PA 529 College and Career Savings Program, Keystone Scholars, and PA ABLE. SEPTA and PennDOT also participated in the day's events.
