State Rep. Kathleen C. Tomlinson | Pennsylvania 18th Legislative District
On May 13, 2024, Rep. K.C. Tomlinson (R-Bucks) announced that he will host a press conference in Harrisburg alongside members of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), Women’s Animal Center, the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area (HSHA), and PA PitStop. The event is set to discuss House Resolution 402, which recognizes May 20, 2024, as “Rescue Dog Day” in Pennsylvania.
The press conference will feature various prominent figures including Tomlinson; Kristen Tullo, PA state director for HSUS; Cathy Malkemes, CEO of Women’s Animal Center; Aspasia Yeager, HSHA operations director; and Denise Klonis, co-founder of PA PitStop.
The event is scheduled for Monday, May 20 at 1:15 p.m. It will take place at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Main Rotunda located at 501 N. 3rd St., Harrisburg, PA.
