WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1) expressed his gratitude upon being chosen for the Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program once again. Fitzpatrick stated, “It is a great honor to have an experienced member of the veteran community serve as a bridge between our local veterans and the federal government, ensuring we effectively advocate for our veterans' needs while delivering the personalized care and results they deserve."

Fitzpatrick also acknowledged the contributions of US Army Captain Macklin Wagner, a previous participant in the program, who has been instrumental in serving the local military community. Captain Wagner shared his thoughts on the program, saying, “The Green & Gold Congressional Fellowship has allowed me to successfully transition from the military to a crucial and rewarding civilian career."

Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil (WI-01) highlighted the importance of the program, stating, “The Green and Gold Aide Program ensures that Congressional offices across the country are helping veterans and their families." He also emphasized the significance of Fitzpatrick's involvement in the program in serving the veterans of PA-1.

The Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program aims to create employment opportunities for veterans, Gold Star Families, and active-duty spouses within the United States Houses of Representatives.
