Bucks County Montessori CS recently issued the following announcement.
PUBLIC NOTICE - BCMCS Masking Requirement to be reviewed at BCMCS Board Meeting of 1/12/22.
On Friday, December 10th, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court determined the state's mask mandate will revert to local school board decision. At the last Board meeting held on December 1, 2021, the BCMCS Board of Trustees approved a motion authorizing the school's Administration to conduct a polling of staff and parents regarding whether they would like to continue with or lift the present masking requirements at BCMCS. The present plan is to conduct the survey over the Christmas Break, with results of the masking survey, along with any other pertinent data, presented to the Board at their next meeting on 1/12/22. At that time, the Board will decide on whether to maintain or lift the school's masking requirement. While it is still our goal for students and staff to return to a "normal" setting as soon as possible, given the rise in Covid cases in Bucks County, and specifically within our school community, the School's present Health and Safety Plan and Masking Requirement remains in place until the BCMCS Board of Trusteees has had an opportunity to consider the survey results and additional data to be presented at their Board meeting of January 12, 2022.
