Political violence has no justification or place in America—against anyone, for any reason, at any time. While we are immensely grateful President Trump was not seriously injured and commend the swift actions of our first responders, law enforcement agents, and medical personnel, we are heartbroken and devastated by the senseless and tragic loss of an innocent bystander’s life and the serious injury of at least one other person.
