Tomlinson reschedules press conference on House resolution for Rescue Dog Day

Rep. K.C. Tomlinson announced on May 17 that a press conference regarding House Resolution 402, which recognizes May 20 as ‘Rescue Dog Day’ in Pennsylvania, has been rescheduled.

The event aims to highlight the importance of rescue dogs and promote awareness about their adoption and welfare across the state.

Tomlinson will be joined by Kristen Tullo, Pennsylvania state director for the Humane Society of the United States; Cathy Malkemes, CEO of Women’s Animal Center; Aspasia Yeager, operations director at the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area; and Denise Klonis, co-founder of PA PitStop. The press conference is set to take place on Tuesday, June 4 at 2 p.m. on the front steps of the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg.
