On Sunday, April 13, former Villa Joseph Marie High School standout Ava Tsiouplis’ current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Hofstra Pride.

The game took place at Bill Edwards Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Pride this season.

The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 5 p.m. at Boseman Field against North Carolina Tar Heels.
