Rep. K.C. Tomlinson has announced that Bensalem Township will receive funding for a water main replacement project through a $77.5 million loan from the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST). This funding is part of an initiative aimed at improving sewer, storm water, and drinking water systems across Pennsylvania.
The loan will be allocated to 16 municipalities in southeastern Pennsylvania, focusing on upgrading their water mains. "I am happy to say Bensalem is included in this vital project in the southeast," said Tomlinson. "Making sure our water mains are updated means our drinking water is safe and quality service is provided to the consumers."
