State officials have announced a significant development for Northampton Township, with the awarding of a $1 million state grant. The funding, provided through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), will be used to construct Northampton Fire Station No. 3 at 3 Township Road. This new facility aims to enhance safety and emergency response capabilities in the Richboro community and surrounding areas.

Representative Kristin Marcell expressed her satisfaction with the collaboration that led to securing this grant. "I am proud to have worked with Senator Farry and Representative Hogan to help secure this grant, which will help defray the costs of construction to develop this state-of-the-art facility for our firefighters," said Marcell. She emphasized that the new station represents a significant upgrade for local emergency response capabilities.

Senator Frank Farry also highlighted his role in obtaining the funding, stating, "I am pleased I was able to help secure this funding for the construction of Northampton Fire Station No. 3." He noted that the station would improve safety for first responders and their communities.

Representative Joe Hogan shared his enthusiasm about contributing to securing RACP funding. "This long-term investment will allow the Northampton Township Fire Department to keep our community safe while serving with efficiency and compassion for decades to come," Hogan remarked.

The RACP is known for supporting critical infrastructure projects across Pennsylvania. The new fire station in Northampton Township is expected to serve as a modern hub for emergency services, aiding local firefighters and first responders while enhancing community safety.
