Reps. Kristin Marcell and Joe Hogan, along with Sen. Frank Farry, have announced that Northampton Township has received a $1 million state grant. The funding comes from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) and will be used for constructing Northampton Fire Station No. 3 at 3 Township Road.
Kristin Marcell expressed her satisfaction with the collaborative effort, stating, “I am proud to have worked with Senator Farry and Representative Hogan to help secure this grant, which will help defray the costs of construction to develop this state-of-the-art facility for our firefighters.” She emphasized that the new station represents a significant improvement in emergency response capabilities for the community.
Senator Frank Farry shared his enthusiasm about securing the funds: “I am pleased I was able to help secure this funding for the construction of Northampton Fire Station No. 3.” He highlighted that the new station would enhance safety for first responders and the communities they serve.
Joe Hogan also expressed his excitement about being part of securing the RACP funding, saying, “This long-term investment will allow the Northampton Township Fire Department to keep our community safe while serving with efficiency and compassion for decades to come.”
The RACP is a state program designed to support critical infrastructure projects across Pennsylvania. The new fire station in Northampton Township aims to serve as a modern hub for emergency services, aiding local firefighters and first responders while enhancing community safety.
