Rep. Joe Hogan and Sen. Frank Farry have announced grant funding for four projects within the 142nd House District and 6th Senate District, sourced from the Pennsylvania Local Share Account (LSA) program.
The projects include a $348,826 grant to Langhorne Manor Borough for replacing drainage swales along West Prospect Avenue with infiltration trenches. Lower Southampton Township will receive $313,999 for new intersection cameras at approximately 22 locations. The Upper Southampton Municipal Authority is set to receive $593,343 to install two bypass pumps at the Mill Creek Pump Station as part of sanitary sewer station upgrades. Middletown Township has been allocated $1 million for lighting upgrades at Community Park, covering areas like a skate park and sports fields.
Rep. Hogan expressed his satisfaction with the funding: “I am thrilled to see this grant money come through for projects in the district.” He emphasized that these initiatives will enhance residents' quality of life in Bucks County.
Sen. Farry also commented on securing the funds: “I’m pleased to have helped secure funding for these important projects in the district.” He noted that each project addresses critical needs and benefits the community long-term.
These grants are part of a broader effort supported by gaming revenues distributed through the Commonwealth Financing Authority under the PA Race Horse Development and Gaming Act (Act 2004-71).
