Saint Andrew Catholic Church recently issued the following announcement.
At this time our country is experiencing a national blood crisis with the lowest blood supply on hand in over a decade. The American Red Cross will be hosting a Blood Drive on May 16, 2022 from 10:00AM-7:30PM American Legion Hall, 41 Linden Avenue, Newtown, Pa.
You may schedule by emailing joannmarotto@gmail.com. Please include your name, address, phone number and the donation time that you would prefer. The fi rst available appointment time is 10:00am and will continue with appointments every fi fteen minutes until 7:15pm.
You may also sign up online by going to: http://www.redcrossblood.org/ locating American Legion Hall, Morrell Smith Post 440 Blood Drive. The earlier you sign-up the better your chances are of acquiring your specifi c donation time. If you signed-up at the last blood drive you are already on the Red Cross schedule.
