Faith Formation Students Final weeks for PREP Registration
September will be here before we know it and with that comes that beginning of our Faith Formation program. All registrations must be in by Sunday, August 15th so that the books and supplies can be ordered. Any registrations after August 31st are subject to a $10 late fee. Registration can be done online at any time, plus after the 10 AM and noon Masses on Sundays in the Guadalupe Chapel. There are two other dates for inperson registration. Tuesday, August 3rd 5-7 PM in the Guadalupe Chapel and Thursday, August 12th 3-5 PM in the rectory. Please see below for more information on the program.
Registration
In response to interest expressed from some families, this September, we will be offering two types of faith formation for our PREP families. As announced earlier this summer, we will continue the home-based style of catechesis. However, we will now offer the option of attending in person classes at SCB. These classes will be held on Wednesdays starting September 22nd through spring 2022. Families will also meet on four Family Catechesis Sundays and complete four Faith Filled activities and one service activity. For the home-based program, offered for levels 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6, teachers will assign lessons and a unit test, and depending on the level, the students may have videos or other reading assignments. Sacramental classes will be held in-person.
