Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, shared reflections on his role in Congress and recent activities through several social media posts in December 2025.
On December 19, Fitzpatrick posted about the importance of representation and gratitude for his colleagues, stating, “I truly appreciate my colleagues’ complimentary words—I feel the very same way about them. Being a true representative means that you represent all of the people, not just those who voted for you. First and foremost, before anything else, I am a thankful American. And I believe”.
Later that day, he highlighted military leadership and service by honoring an individual with decades of experience: “The readiness and strength of the @usairforce and the @PANationalGuard have always depended on leaders willing to take on thestewardship of people, missions, and standards. Today, we honor one of those leaders whose service spanned four decades. Meet this week’s Hometown Hero:” (December 19).
On December 21, Fitzpatrick discussed ongoing healthcare negotiations during an appearance on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream: “This morning, I joined @ShannonBream on @FoxNewsSunday, along with my friend and fellow @ProbSolveCaucus Co-Chair @RepTomSuozzi, to discuss the ongoing ACA and broader health care negotiations.
For months, we did the work—across the aisle, in both chambers, and closely aligned”.
Fitzpatrick was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently resides in Levittown. He earned a BS from La Salle University in 1996 and later received his JD from Pennsylvania State University’s Carlisle campus in 2001. He succeeded Mike Fitzpatrick as representative for Pennsylvania’s 1st district.
