Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, currently serving as the U.S. Congressman for Pennsylvania’s 1st district, posted a series of statements on his social media accounts on October 13 and 14, 2025. On October 13, Fitzpatrick highlighted the contributions of Italian American families in his district, stating, “PA-1 is home to one of the most vibrant Italian American communities in the nation. For generations, families have poured their heart, hard work, talent, traditions, and faith into every corner of our community—enriching our culture and strengthening the foundation of our nation.”

On October 14, Fitzpatrick addressed a recent incident involving Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, expressing relief that no harm came to the governor or his family. Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st District in Congress since 2017, succeeding his predecessor Mike Fitzpatrick. Born in Philadelphia in 1973, he resides in Levittown and holds degrees from La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
