Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district, has recently shared several updates via social media on various topics ranging from legislative initiatives to community events. Fitzpatrick, who replaced Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017, continues to engage with his constituents through these platforms.
On May 16, 2025, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick highlighted “This #NationalPoliceWeek, we’re doing more than honoring our officers—we’re fighting for them.” He announced a collaborative effort with Rep. Golden to introduce the bipartisan Defund Cities That Defund the Police Act. This legislative move is described as a response to policies that have reduced police funding.
The following day, May 17, 2025, he expressed gratitude towards service members by stating “Home of the free—because of the brave.” He acknowledged their contributions across land, sea, and air and emphasized their role in upholding national values and freedom.
Later on May 17th, Fitzpatrick shared his experience at a local event by saying “Awesome afternoon at my alma mater @ConwellEgan for their 4th Food Truck & Family Festival.” He praised the community’s support and appreciated those who organized the event.
Brian Fitzpatrick was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and resides in Levittown. A graduate of La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University with degrees in law and business administration respectively, he has been actively serving his district since taking office.
