Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, has used his social media platform to highlight policy priorities in environmental protection and public health.
On April 15, 2026, Fitzpatrick addressed the importance of supporting national parks by stating, “Our national parks cannot be asked to do more with less. Protecting them means investing in the workforce that sustains them, addressing long-overdue maintenance, and preserving the history they carry. That was the focus of this morning’s National Parks Conservation Association https://t.co/AG1qXohTgs”.
The following day, on April 16, he emphasized the need for a comprehensive approach to health policy: “If we want to reduce chronic disease in America, we have to think bigger. We need a health strategy that takes nutrition, prevention, care, and telehealth seriously, and accounts for the contaminants and toxins we are exposed to through food and water. That was the message I https://t.co/uHKOHAlxAv”.
Later that same day, Fitzpatrick turned his attention to water infrastructure and affordability concerns: “Clean water demands two things at once: strong infrastructure and affordability for the families who depend on it. That is the shared mission at the heart of my work with the PA American Water Works Association, shaping both H.R. 4733, my Low-Income Household Water Assistance https://t.co/BUwPj0ip4E”.
Fitzpatrick’s legislative interests reflect both local and national concerns about environmental stewardship and public health access. Born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently residing in Levittown at age 49, Fitzpatrick holds degrees from La Salle University (BS) and Pennsylvania State University (JD). His ongoing congressional service follows his predecessor Mike Fitzpatrick.
