Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, recently shared updates on community events and developments in his constituency through a series of tweets.
On June 8, 2025, Fitzpatrick extended congratulations to the Judy Sare Nursery School at Congregation Tifereth Israel in Bensalem on their 36th anniversary. He noted the significance of the number 18 in Judaism, which represents “chai” or “life,” celebrating what he termed as “double chai—36 years of life, love, and learning that have helped shape not just”.
Later that day, Fitzpatrick highlighted an annual tradition by expressing his honor in joining the Fairless Hills Elks Lodge #2023 for their Flag Day ceremony. He reflected on the historical adoption of the American flag on June 14, 1777, stating it symbolizes liberty, unity, and sacrifice: “Every year, I’m honored to join the Fairless Hills Elks Lodge #2023 for their annual Flag Day ceremony—an event that keeps”.
On June 9, Fitzpatrick announced significant economic news for Pennsylvania’s 1st district with Amazon’s investment plans. The company is set to make a $20 billion investment in Pennsylvania, including a state-of-the-art data center campus in Bucks County. This development is expected to create over 1,250 high-paying jobs and bring advanced AI technology to the area: “Big news for PA-1! @amazon is making a historic $20 billion investment in Pennsylvania—including a flagship, state-of-the-art data center campus right here in Bucks County.”
Brian Fitzpatrick was born in Philadelphia and resides in Levittown. He graduated from La Salle University with a BS degree and later earned a JD from Pennsylvania State University.
