Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Pennsylvania’s 1st congressional district, shared updates this week on local healthcare investment, cancer advocacy efforts, and fiscal policy proposals through a series of posts on his social media account.

On January 6, Fitzpatrick announced the completion of a significant hospital project: “Yesterday, I joined the team at @LowerBucksHosp to mark the completion of their new, expanded Intensive Care Unit—a $1.2 million federal investment I was proud to fight for and secure. This expansion more than doubles ICU capacity, strengthening the hospital’s ability to deliver”. The initiative reflects recent federal funding directed toward Lower Bucks Hospital’s critical care facilities.

The following day, Fitzpatrick highlighted his ongoing work in cancer advocacy alongside Rep. Debbie Dingell: “I joined @washingtonpost Live with my friend and House Cancer Caucus Co-Chair Rep. Debbie Dingell to discuss the most urgent cancer priority we’re still getting wrong—and how to finally set it right. Each year, nearly half a million children around the world are diagnosed with”. The post points to international pediatric cancer rates and bipartisan legislative engagement.

Later on January 7, Fitzpatrick addressed national fiscal challenges by promoting a bipartisan commission: “Our debt is growing faster than our willingness to confront it—and that is a risk we can no longer afford. That’s why today, our @ProbSolveCaucus put forward a serious, two-party, patriotic, common-sense framework to take it on. We’re advancing a bipartisan fiscal commission to”.
