Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, highlighted recent engagements with key community groups in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) between November 16 and 17, 2025.
On November 16, Fitzpatrick shared his experience attending an event in Philadelphia with the Ukrainian American Bar Association (UABA), stating, “A special night with my friends from the Ukrainian American Bar Association (UABA) in Philadelphia—a prolific national organization whose leadership has strengthened the US–Ukraine partnership for nearly fifty years. As Co-Chair of the Congressional Ukraine Caucus, I was honored”.
Later that day, he recognized the contributions of Jamaican-Americans in his district: “Our incredible PA-1 Jamaican-American community is a vital partner in our district—vibrant, deeply rooted in faith and service, and closely connected to families here in Bucks and Montgomery Counties and across Jamaica. When something happens back home, it resonates here in a”.
Continuing this theme on November 17, Fitzpatrick emphasized unity within the local Jamaican-American community by posting: “There is nothing more powerful than a community united. Yesterday, we saw that strength firsthand with our PA-1 Jamaican-American community. In partnership with the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce of the Northeast, the Keystone Community Coalition, Honorary Consul”.
Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st District since replacing Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017. Born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently residing in Levittown, he holds degrees from La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson Law School.
The Ukrainian American Bar Association has played a role for nearly five decades in fostering relations between Ukraine and the United States. The Jamaican-American community referenced by Fitzpatrick maintains strong ties both locally—in Bucks and Montgomery Counties—and internationally to Jamaica itself.
