Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, shared updates on recent legislative and community activities in a series of posts on his official X account.
On December 2, 2025, Fitzpatrick highlighted his engagement with local education leaders: “Great meeting today with PA-1 community members and representatives of the League of Innovative Schools @DPLeague—some of the most forward-thinking education leaders in our region and across the country.

Later that day, he reflected on legislative accomplishments related to global child development: “In 2021, the Global Child Thrive Act—a bipartisan effort I was proud to lead—was signed into law, reshaping America’s approach to global development. It placed early childhood development where it belongs: not at the margins of U.S. foreign assistance, but at its core, https://t.co/DMYBaskZcJ”.
On December 3, Fitzpatrick addressed ongoing legislative efforts in Congress: “Our focus is on delivering a bill for the American people with the clearest, strongest path to 218 and 60. We have that in this plan—shaped by input from both parties, both chambers, and the White House.
This is the People’s House.
And we will move this forward.
Fitzpatrick has served as a member of Congress since replacing Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017. He was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently resides in Levittown. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from La Salle University (1996) and a Juris Doctor from Pennsylvania State University (2001).
