Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Pennsylvania’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on community engagement and legislative developments through a series of posts on his social media account this week.
On November 12, Fitzpatrick highlighted a visit to the HELP Center in Bristol Township, writing, “Bringing people together for the greater good.” When you walk through the doors of the HELP Center in Bristol Township, those words greet you, and this morning, Team Fitz members had a great time helping put them into action. Later that evening, following congressional action to end a government shutdown, Fitzpatrick posted about the outcome of a key vote: Tonight’s vote reopens the government—Finally. It returns 1.4 million public servants to their posts, restores paychecks, funds SNAP and WIC for the families who rely on them, and keeps our air travel system safe and functioning. For over forty days, Americans bore the cost of (November 13).

Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st District since 2017 after succeeding Mike Fitzpatrick. He was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently resides in Levittown. He holds degrees from La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
