Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Pennsylvania’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets this week highlighting local achievements and tragedies in his community.

On January 16, Fitzpatrick wrote: “Hometown Heroes come in many forms. Some protect us in moments of crisis. Others solve problems and push progress forward through ingenuity and hard work. This week, we honor three young innovators whose research and leadership have advanced real-world scientific understanding.”

The following day, January 17, he shared details about a recent event: “This morning, I joined over seventy Bucks County school administrators and directors, along with fellow local legislative leaders, for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit Committee for Education (ACE) Breakfast. What makes this gathering so important is the breadth of voices at”

Later on January 17, Fitzpatrick addressed a recent loss in the community: “Two days before Christmas, Felistas Muthoni Nduthu–Ndegwa, a 52-year-old nurse at Silver Lake Nursing Home in Bristol Township, left her home for what should have been her final shift before the holidays. Fitzpatrick has served as a U.S. Congressman since 2017 after succeeding Mike Fitzpatrick. He was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently resides in Levittown. His educational background includes a BS from La Salle University and a JD from Pennsylvania State University.
