Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, has recently highlighted bipartisan initiatives and the importance of collaboration in a series of posts on his social media account.
On January 13, 2026, Fitzpatrick emphasized the necessity of working together for progress: “Progress requires partnership. It comes from respect, finding common ground, and a willingness to work through disagreement in good faith. Tonight, I was glad to join my @chrisfralic and the students of @StationDC_HQ’s Building Relationships program for a thoughtful and dynamic https://t.co/UbzC1ftQ9V”.
In another post dated January 14, 2026, he addressed health care access for cancer patients: “Cancer doesn’t wait—patients shouldn’t either. That’s why, as Co-Chair of the House Cancer Caucus, I’m leading the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act, bipartisan legislation to eliminate the SSDI and Medicare waiting periods so families can get life-saving care without https://t.co/7GoCHL4h1w”.
Later that day, Fitzpatrick reflected on historical recognition for women in America: “America’s story is incomplete without the women who built it. In 2020, I was proud to help lead the successful, bipartisan effort to establish the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum—long-overdue recognition of the women whose courage, creativity, and leadership shaped https://t.co/r4nY6HfNxd”.
Fitzpatrick was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently resides in Levittown. He holds degrees from La Salle University (BS) and Pennsylvania State University (JD). As a member of Congress since replacing Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017, he has consistently promoted bipartisan efforts on issues ranging from healthcare access to historical commemoration.
