Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 1st District since 2017, recently shared several updates on his legislative efforts and meetings through social media. Born in Philadelphia in 1973, Fitzpatrick is an alumnus of La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
On June 4, 2025, Fitzpatrick tweeted about a meeting with Ukrainian officials including President Zelenskyy’s Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak and First Deputy Prime Minister Svyrydenko. Alongside his Ukraine Caucus Co-Chairs, he discussed their “shared resolve in the fight for Ukraine’s freedom” and his proposed Sanctioning Russia Act aimed at imposing further penalties.
Later that day, Fitzpatrick addressed the challenges faced by EMS professionals nationwide. He emphasized their critical role when “every second matters,” acknowledging the strain on resources across the country. He introduced the PARA-EMT Act as a measure to provide essential support to strengthen this workforce.
In another post dated June 5, 2025, Fitzpatrick referenced Mark Thiessen’s endorsement of his Sanctioning Russia Act co-authored with Lindsey Graham. He stated that this legislation would significantly impact Putin’s military capabilities and deliver a historical message: “tyrants will crumble and freedom will always prevail.” This tweet highlights his commitment to challenging Russian aggression.
