Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 1st District since 2017, recently shared his views on political violence and national service through a series of tweets. Fitzpatrick, born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently residing in Levittown, holds degrees from La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
On June 16, 2025, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick expressed his stance on political violence by stating that it is “an act of terror against our democracy” which “cannot be rationalized, nor will it ever be tolerated.” He urged prosecutors to seek the maximum charges under law for those responsible to ensure accountability and justice. “Political violence is an act of terror against our democracy. It cannot be rationalized, nor will it ever be tolerated.”

Later that day, Fitzpatrick emphasized the importance of national service by tweeting about its role in strengthening America. He highlighted his support for national service and conservation corps programs as they unite people and develop leaders while delivering tangible benefits to communities and public lands. His post coincided with National Service and Conservation Corps Day: “Service makes America stronger.”
