On Wednesday, April 9, former Pennsbury High School standout Laney Freiband’s current college team, the Cornell Big Red, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Syracuse Orange.

The game took place at Niemand Robison Field. This was their first matchup against the Orange this season.

The Big Red’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12:30 p.m. at Niemand Robison Field against Princeton Tigers.
