Rep. Kristin Marcell and Sen. Frank Farry announced on Apr. 7 that they will host a Salute to Our Veterans Expo on Friday, April 10, at Northampton Valley Country Club in Richboro. The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is free for all veterans, their families, and community members who wish to honor those who have served.
The expo aims to connect local veterans with organizations and professionals that provide services tailored for former members of the United States Armed Forces. Marcell said, “America’s 250th anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who defended our freedoms. This event is a small way for us to say thank you while ensuring veterans and their families are aware of the many programs and services available to support them.”
Farry also encouraged participation, saying, “Our Veterans Expo is an opportunity for veterans in our community to connect with local veteran organizations, ensuring they have access to the resources available to them. As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, it is also a time to show our appreciation and honor the men and women who have served our country. I encourage all veterans and their families to join us on Friday for this meaningful event.”
Marcell represents constituents in Bucks County according to the official website. She resides in Wrightstown with her husband and two children as reported by her official biography. Marcell serves as state representative for her district according to information from her official website.
