Hogan announces over $100K in grants for local fire and EMS services

More than $100,000 in grants have been awarded to fire and EMS companies serving Pennsylvania’s 142nd District, according to an announcement from Rep. Joe Hogan of Bucks County. The funding comes from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and the Office of the State Fire Commissioner.

The grants are intended for a range of projects, including construction or renovation of facilities, purchasing or repairing equipment, training initiatives, and reducing existing debt for fire and ambulance companies.

The organizations receiving funds include Feasterville Fire Co. ($15,312), Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company ($16,136), Lower Southampton Fire Co. ($16,136), Middletown Township DBA ($12,838), Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Co. ($14,693), Penndel Fire Co. No. 1 ($16,136), Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad ($15,000), and William Penn Fire Co. ($16,136).

Rep. Hogan stated: “Across our community, this funding will support critical upgrades and the acquisition of life saving equipment,” adding: “As we know, our volunteer first responders put their lives on the line with every call, we must ensure they have the resources they need to keep our communities and families safe.”
