On Saturday, March 22, former Council Rock High School South standout Gia Scannapieco’s current college team, the Fairfield Stags, won 13-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.

The game took place at Our Lady of the Meadows. This was their second matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Stags’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of the Meadows against Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
