On Tuesday, April 1, former Council Rock High School South standout Joe Purcell’s current college team, the Slippery Rock The Rock, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mansfield Mountaineers.

The game took place at Jack Critchfield Park. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The The Rock’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 3:30 p.m. at Jack Critchfield Park against Mansfield Mountaineers.
