Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick has completed his first 100 days in the 119th Congress, emphasizing bipartisan problem-solving and reforms with actionable results. He aimed to restore trust in government, support working families, veterans, and public servants, and reinforce America’s global role.

Fitzpatrick introduced a significant reform package, advocating for term limits, a balanced budget, and ethics reform prohibiting Congress members and spouses from individual stock trading. He co-authored this bipartisan measure with Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cory Mills, and Raja Krishnamoorthi. “Our reforms transcend partisan divides and strike at the core of what our country needs: leaders who are accountable, institutions that are transparent, and a renewed trust in our democracy,” Fitzpatrick said.

He pushed through the Social Security Fairness Act, which removes inequalities affecting teachers, firefighters, police, and public employees. “Our teachers, firefighters, police officers, and public servants dedicated their careers to serving others,” Fitzpatrick commented.

Responding to the Sunoco pipeline leak in Upper Makefield Township, Fitzpatrick demanded accountability from relevant authorities. “When lives and health are on the line, delay is not an option,” he stated.

In labor rights, Fitzpatrick proposed the Protect America’s Workforce Act, which aims to restore collective bargaining rights for federal workers. “Fairness, efficiency, and accountability are not competing priorities—they reinforce each other,” he affirmed.

In the realm of family and public policy, he introduced several acts, including those enhancing child care, nutrition access, school safety, and support for ALS veterans. “These aren’t partisan ideas—they’re practical, people-first policies rooted in dignity and common sense,” he noted.

Fitzpatrick’s efforts in health and medical innovation included bills to foster cancer research and improve patient care. “This work is personal. It’s about closing care gaps, saving lives, and accelerating breakthroughs,” he said.

Working on national security and alliances, Fitzpatrick went to the Munich Security Conference and NATO Headquarters, supporting Ukraine against Russian hostility. He introduced sanctions and legislative protections for Ukrainians. “Ukraine’s battle is not just their own—it is a frontline defense for all nations that believe in democracy, security, and the rule of law,” Fitzpatrick expressed.

In energy and environment, he focused on the Delaware River Basin and clean energy legislation, arguing, “Protecting our environment and powering our economy are not competing goals—they are complementary.”

Fitzpatrick holds influential committee positions, focusing on intelligence and tax matters, and leads several bipartisan caucuses, saying, “The best policy is built through partnership. That’s how you drive progress—by bringing people together, not pushing them apart.”

Looking forward, Fitzpatrick plans to focus on bipartisan policies with priorities on infrastructure, tax relief, healthcare access, cybersecurity, and maintaining global leadership.
