Rep. Joe Hogan has announced that Bucks County will receive $2.34 million in grants from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. The funds are designated for housing support and repair projects within the county.

The grants will benefit several local organizations, including Bucks County Habitat for Humanity, the Bucks County Housing Services Department, and the YWCA of Bucks County.

“This is great news for the people of Bucks County,” said Hogan. “Millions of dollars will now be invested in our communities to help find housing or make critical repairs. More people in Bucks will now be able to reach their dream of homeownership.”

The funding was approved for applicants under the Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement (PHARE) program. The financial resources were sourced from Marcellus Shale Impact Fees and Realty Transfer Taxes.
