Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, who has served Pennsylvania’s 1st District in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently shared a series of posts reflecting on global unity, support for Ukraine, and local healthcare reform efforts. Fitzpatrick, born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently residing in Levittown, continues to engage with both international and local issues through his public communications.
On July 14, 2025, Fitzpatrick commemorated the anniversary of Live Aid with a message about global solidarity: “40 years ago, the world tuned in to Live Aid. From London to right here in Philadelphia, millions stood united—across borders, languages, and time zones—proving that when we come together around a common cause, we are capable of extraordinary good. Live Aid showed us that unity”.
The following day, July 15, 2025, Fitzpatrick addressed the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and called for decisive action against Russia: “Momentum is on our side. It’s time to finish the job—strike Putin’s war machine with relentless force, bankrupt his enablers, and stand united until Ukraine stands free. I urge all my House colleagues to join us—this is a defining moment, and the world is watching.”
Later on July 15th, Fitzpatrick reported on a meeting with representatives from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), highlighting participation from community members within his district: “Great meeting this morning with representatives from the @APTA_official, including PA-1 community members Mason Fisher of North Wales, Daniel Freeman of Doylestown, and Carol Wamsley of Levittown. We focused on where strategic reform is most needed: updating Medicare to reflect”.
Fitzpatrick replaced former U.S. Congress member Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017. He holds degrees from La Salle University (BS) and Pennsylvania State University (JD).
