Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, recently shared personal reflections and public announcements through a series of tweets. Fitzpatrick, born in Philadelphia and currently residing in Levittown, is a graduate of La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
On May 11, 2025, Fitzpatrick expressed gratitude toward his mother by quoting Abraham Lincoln: “All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.” He attributed his life achievements to Mary Fitzpatrick, whom he described as “the heart of our family” with “quiet strength” and “deep faith.”
Later that day, Fitzpatrick congratulated four young leaders for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He acknowledged Andrew Woerz from Troop 27 in Riegelsville, Stephen Shermer from Troop 108 in East Greenville, Maxwell Dumack from Troop 99 in Wrightstown, and Brandon Staehle from Troop 187B in Sellersville. The congressman encouraged others to “Join me in congratulating” these individuals for their accomplishment.
In another tweet on the same day, Fitzpatrick reminded constituents about the impending REAL ID Day scheduled for May 12. He informed residents that special services would be available at Bensalem or Dublin PennDOT centers between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM for those needing a REAL ID. He emphasized its necessity for domestic flights and entry into federal facilities by stating: “As of last week, you’ll need a REAL ID (or passport/military ID) to: Fly domestically Enter”.
Brian Fitzpatrick replaced Mike Fitzpatrick as a representative and has served diligently since taking office. His educational background includes degrees from La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
