U.S. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, who serves Pennsylvania’s 1st district, shared a series of posts on social media over the weekend highlighting local veterans’ events and urging Senate action on federal funding legislation.
On November 8, 2025, Fitzpatrick posted about attending a ceremony in Richboro with the Northampton Township Veterans Advisory Commission. He wrote: “Wonderful to join my friends from the Northampton Township Veterans Advisory Commission this afternoon in Richboro as our community gathered to honor three remarkable patriots:
• U.S. Marine Corps Captain and Korean War Veteran Harry C. Niemann, III
• U.S. Army Reserve”.
Later that evening, Fitzpatrick addressed ongoing negotiations in Congress regarding government funding. In his post dated November 8, 2025, he stated: “The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has now joined forces with the largest federal employees union, as well as the Air Traffic Controller’s Union, in calling on Senate Democrats to join U.S. @SenFettermanPA and pass the bipartisan clean CR that has already passed in the House. End the”.
On November 9, 2025, Fitzpatrick highlighted another local event recognizing veterans: “Another great celebration in our community today at the 19th Annual Lower Makefield Township Veterans Commemorative Ceremony, where we stood united in gratitude for those brave men and women in PA-1 and beyond who have served, sacrificed, and secured the blessings of freedom we”.
Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st congressional district since replacing Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017. Born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently residing in Levittown, he holds degrees from La Salle University (BS) and Pennsylvania State University (JD).
