Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district, shared a series of updates on June 1, 2025, highlighting local achievements and community events.
In his first post of the day, Fitzpatrick extended congratulations to James Goodwin of Troop 147 from Holland for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He noted that this is “an outstanding achievement that reflects his exemplary leadership, initiative, and commitment to service.” For his project, Goodwin organized various activities including fundraising and shipping.
Later that morning, Fitzpatrick attended an event with the @CouncilRockSD @TMFoundation Club at their annual Character Does Matter 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run in Holland. He remarked on the event’s atmosphere by stating: “From start to finish, the spirit of service and unity was front and center.” He also mentioned having meaningful conversations with community members such as Joan. Incredible morning.
In another update posted in the afternoon, Fitzpatrick expressed his enthusiasm for participating in Woods Services’ Annual Run For Woods event. He described it as “a day that brings our community together in support of a mission I’m proud to champion.” This year’s event saw over 400 participants who helped raise more than $300,000 for Woods’ initiatives. Every year.
