Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Pennsylvania’s 1st congressional district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on social media highlighting recent community events and moments of compassion.

On September 21, 2025, Fitzpatrick posted about a local event: “What a night in Bristol Borough! The annual Oldies on the River concert once again brought our community and neighboring towns together for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, and old-fashioned fun. Big thanks to the entire Bristol Borough Council, Mayor, Anna Larrisey,” he wrote.

The following day, on September 22, Fitzpatrick shared a message about forgiveness: “Take a minute to watch this today. In a powerful moment of extraordinary compassion, courage, faith, and grace, Erika Kirk forgave her husband’s assassin—reminding the world that even in our darkest hours, light can break through, and only love and forgiveness can defeat hatred”.

Later that same day, Fitzpatrick celebrated a local resident’s milestone birthday: “What an honor to celebrate the remarkable Jean Spencer Batten, one of PA-1’s most special treasures and the @Phillies’ #1 fan, on her 100th birthday! Born in Northampton, England in 1925, Jean met U.S. Air Force serviceman Robert Batten at a dance in while he was stationed in”.

Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st District since 2017 after succeeding Mike Fitzpatrick. He was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently resides in Levittown. His educational background includes graduating from La Salle University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996 and earning his Juris Doctor from Pennsylvania State University’s Carlisle campus in 2001.
