U.S. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, who serves Pennsylvania’s 1st district, recently highlighted community initiatives and individual achievements in Bucks County through a series of posts on his official social media account.
On March 15, Fitzpatrick acknowledged the ongoing efforts in New Hope–Solebury to address childhood cancer, writing, “In New Hope–Solebury, the fight against childhood cancer has become a community mission. The annual @StBaldricks ‘Conquer Kids’ Cancer’ event at New Hope Upper Elementary began as a way to honor two beloved NHS classmates—Ethan Toohey (15) and Robert Nagg (17)—whose lives were” (March 15, 2026).
Later that day, Fitzpatrick recognized Lukas Lotito of Troop 71 for achieving Eagle Scout status: “Join me in congratulating Lukas Lotito of Troop 71, from Furlong, on earning the rank of Eagle Scout—an achievement that reflects leadership, initiative, and a deep commitment to serving others. For his Eagle Scout project, Lukas designed and built two Chimney Swift towers at” (March 15, 2026).
On March 16, Fitzpatrick turned attention to mental health resources with an update about local infrastructure: “In moments of mental health or substance use crisis, having somewhere to turn can make all the difference. This week I toured the Bright Path Center in Doylestown, which is nearing completion and will soon open as Pennsylvania’s first crisis stabilization center of its kind. By” (March 16, 2026).
Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st District since replacing Mike Fitzpatrick in Congress in 2017. Born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently residing in Levittown, he graduated from La Salle University before earning his law degree from Pennsylvania State University.
