U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district, posted a series of messages on March 8, 2026, highlighting local achievements and social issues.
In a post early in the day, Fitzpatrick recognized the accomplishments of a local scout: “Join me in congratulating Josh Wood of Troop 172, from Warrington, on earning the rank of Eagle Scout—an achievement that reflects leadership, perseverance, and a deep commitment to service. For his project, Josh designed and led the construction of a prayer garden behind Saint” (March 8, 2026).
Later that afternoon, Fitzpatrick addressed domestic abuse and its financial dimensions: “Domestic abuse is not only physical—it is often financial, leaving survivors cut off from the accounts, documents, and resources they need to rebuild their independence. Economic coercion is a powerful tool of control, and rigid administrative deadlines can make it even harder” (March 8, 2026).
In an evening message, he commended local fire companies for their dedication: “The incredible men and women of the all-volunteer fire companies of Perkasie Fire Company No. 1 and Milford Volunteer Fire Department are the very definition of courage, commitment, and service to community. When the call comes, no matter the hour, they step forward without” (March 8, 2026).
Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017. He was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently resides in Levittown. His educational background includes a BS from La Salle University earned in 1996 and a JD from Pennsylvania State University obtained in 2001.
