Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, highlighted local achievements and legislative initiatives in a series of posts on his social media accounts between November 6 and November 7, 2025.

On November 6, Fitzpatrick acknowledged student-athletes from Bucks County: “Big night for @Neshaminy_SD, and all of Bucks County! Honored to help celebrate 13 incredible student-athletes as they made it official, signing commitments to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. This isn’t just a personal achievement, it’s a reflection of https://t.co/tgIGt5pMDt”.

Later that day, he addressed legislative efforts regarding Senate procedures: “I introduced H.J. Res. 4 on the first day of the 119th Congress with @RepGolden to propose a Constitutional Amendment that makes the Senate filibuster permanent. The filibuster is what still forces both parties to work together in Washington. Without it, we lose the stability, https://t.co/RoPJ8RsGf9”.

On November 7, Fitzpatrick attended an event with local business leaders: “What a great night with my friends at the @upperbucks Chamber of Commerce, celebrating the people and businesses who continue to make this community so extraordinary. The Chamber is not just a connector—it’s a catalyst. It advocates, supports growth, and moves our local economy https://t.co/QQpK6xRoMh”.

Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st District since replacing Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017. Born in Philadelphia in 1973 and currently residing in Levittown, he holds degrees from La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
