Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, announced on social media the recent passage of the Protect America’s Workforce Act and recognized a local police officer for his bravery.
On December 11, 2025, Fitzpatrick wrote, ” The House just delivered a bipartisan win for America’s workers with passage of the Protect America’s Workforce Act—commonsense, two-party legislation I’m proud to lead alongside my colleague, fellow Problem Solver, and friend, @RepGolden. This bill restores something”.
The following day, he emphasized the significance of the legislation in another post dated December 12, 2025: “A voice at work isn’t a benefit—it’s a basic American principle. Yesterday, the House passed my bipartisan legislation with Rep. Jared Golden, the Protect America’s Workforce Act, to restore that principle for nearly one million federal employees. This is not a concession. It”.
Later on December 12, Fitzpatrick highlighted local heroism in his district by honoring Officer Sean Peck: “Eight members of our community are alive today because one man chose to act in an extraordinary moment of courage. Meet this week’s Hometown Hero: 31-year-old Penndel Borough Police Officer Sean Peck. Yesterday, in the predawn hours of an overnight shift, around 4:45 a.m.”.
Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st District since replacing Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017 and currently resides in Levittown after being born in Philadelphia in 1973. He holds degrees from La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
