Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st District since 2017, recently shared his insights and activities on social media. Fitzpatrick, born in Philadelphia and residing in Levittown, has been active in advocating for bipartisan solutions and community recognition through various legislative efforts.
On May 15, 2025, Fitzpatrick expressed the significance of his meeting with Tony Montalto and the Stand With Parkland team. He emphasized the urgency of addressing school safety by introducing his Measures for Safer School Districts (MSD) Act. “Today’s meeting with my friend and partner Tony Montalto and the @StandWParkland team was a powerful reminder of why we can’t afford to wait.”
In a tweet dated May 16, 2025, Fitzpatrick reiterated his commitment to “Patriotic Common Sense and Economic Patriotism,” which he stated are central themes defining his legislative agenda since he entered Congress. He linked these principles to supporting organized efforts within his constituency. “As I’ve said from the very first day that I entered Congress, Patriotic Common Sense and Economic Patriotism are the core themes that go to the very heart of who I am.”
Later on May 16, 2025, Fitzpatrick highlighted his weekly tradition of recognizing local heroes within Pennsylvania’s 1st district. This week he extended this recognition broadly to all law enforcement officers who serve their communities diligently. “Each week, we shine a light on a Hometown Hero—someone whose service, sacrifice, or spirit reflects the very best of our PA-1 community.”
Fitzpatrick graduated from La Salle University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree and later earned a Juris Doctor from Pennsylvania State University in Carlisle.
