Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Pennsylvania’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on October 1, 2025, highlighting his recent activities with local organizations and his views on government accountability.
In a morning post, Fitzpatrick shared his participation in a roundtable addressing food insecurity: “This morning, I joined leaders from Bucks County Opportunity Council, Philabundance, Bucks County Housing Group, @mannaonmain, SHARE, Hunger-Free Pennsylvania, @KeystoneOpp, and The Open Link for an important roundtable on food insecurity. From increased demand among seniors” (October 1, 2025).
Later that day, he commented on expectations for elected officials: “Two basic rules must apply to all elected officials at all levels of government: 1) Do your basic job and keep government services open and funded; 2) If you fail to do your job, don’t expect to get paid. It’s not complicated. Live by the same rules as everyone else.” (October 1, 2025).
In the afternoon, Fitzpatrick reported on an oversight visit with another official: “This afternoon, I joined @FTAMarcMolinaro for an oversight inspection of several of our local SEPTA stations. Repeated failures of poor management has left both riders and frontline workers in our community, and the entire region, bearing the consequences—missed work, lost time,” (October 1, 2025).
Fitzpatrick has represented Pennsylvania’s 1st District since replacing Mike Fitzpatrick in Congress in 2017. He was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and resides in Levittown. Fitzpatrick holds degrees from La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
