Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, shared insights from his recent activities on social media. Born in Philadelphia in 1973 and residing in Levittown, Fitzpatrick has a background that includes degrees from La Salle University and Pennsylvania State University.
On June 21, 2025, Rep. Fitzpatrick expressed his honor at celebrating the launch of a national platform founded by Matt Bellina, a Navy veteran and ALS advocate from Northampton. In his post, he stated: “Today, I had the great honor of celebrating the launch of https://t.co/rekghwp2iL—a groundbreaking national platform founded by my friend and partner, the extraordinary Matt Bellina of Northampton.” He highlighted Bellina’s role as a father and an ALS warrior in creating this initiative.
Later that day, Fitzpatrick attended an event honoring graduates of the Victor Six Health and Fitness Organization program. He remarked on Twitter: “Incredible evening celebrating the newest class of Victor Six Health and Fitness Organization graduates—twelve extraordinary local veterans who completed a transformative 12-week journey rooted in one powerful belief: when you strengthen the body, you strengthen the mind.” This program focuses on strengthening both physical health and mental resilience among veterans.
Additionally, Fitzpatrick acknowledged local educators’ contributions within his district. On June 21, he tweeted about Brian Kern’s dedication to education over three decades: “Here in PA-1, we’re lucky to have some of the finest educators in the nation—and for the past 32 years, Brian Kern of @Neshaminy_SD has been setting the gold standard.” Kern has served various roles from drumline instructor to principal at Core Creek Elementary.
Brian Fitzpatrick’s engagement with community initiatives underscores his ongoing commitment to supporting local leaders across different sectors within Pennsylvania’s 1st District.
