Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, recently addressed several legislative priorities through a series of posts on his official social media account.
On December 8, 2025, Fitzpatrick highlighted the challenges faced by individuals living with chronic and rare diseases in accessing affordable treatment. He stated, “For people living with chronic and rare diseases, copay assistance is often the only path to staying on lifesaving treatment. Yet far too many are paying twice, while insurers and PBMs pocket that assistance without ever counting it toward a patient’s costs. That’s wrong. And https://t.co/9EtxPwpuy1”.
Continuing his focus on healthcare issues, Fitzpatrick posted on December 9, 2025 about bipartisan efforts to address Affordable Care Act (ACA) premium increases: “From the outset, I committed to delivering a bipartisan solution to prevent end-of-year ACA premium spikes—and today, alongside a bipartisan group of lawmakers, we are doing exactly that. Our Bipartisan Health Insurance Affordability Act keeps ACA premium tax credits in place so https://t.co/pG3ZdKAg7f”.
On December 11, 2025, he announced progress on labor rights legislation: “Tonight, the House voted to advance my bipartisan Protect America’s Workforce Act with @RepGolden—legislation to restore and protect collective bargaining rights for nearly one million federal workers. After months of coalition-building, a bipartisan majority made clear that https://t.co/JQUMq0AioL”.
